77 & 78. Scrapbooking (prep)

Updated: Jul 2, 2019

I've always fancied scrapbooking, it looks like unbridalled craft fun, but have never had the opportunity. But now the perfect project has come up. I'm going to scrapbook the story of every adventure on the F---itlist!

Today I started to grab together the things I'll need for doing the scrapbooks.

SCRAPBOOKS

I reached out to the lovely people at Pink Pink who sent me a few sketchbooks when I was involved in the Big Life Fix and I was able to draw again. I said I needed 8 scrapbooks to do the whole year in graphical form and unphased she said she would send them over. Hugely generous as they are gorgeous books.

PAPERS

i've collected plain coloured papers, snippets of interesting paper and card and some magazine pages. These make great backgrounds and cut out details.

PRINTABLES

I've printed some interesting textures and patterns to use. I searched 'scrapbooking printables' online.

STICKERS AND EMBELLISHMENTS

I've bought a mixture of adhesive gemstones, letters, numbers and shapes. And then 3d hearts, rub on letters and card toppers.

TAPES AND ATTACHMENTS

I'm a little obsessed with washi tapes and rainbow bright striping tape. I can't wait to play with all these. They are bought mainly from Ikea, Poundland and Hobbycraft.

PUNCHES AND LABELMAKERS

These can help bring a bit of extra interest to the images and papers/

PHOTOS

I used an online printing company to get an assortment of my phtod from the activities printed out in an assortment of sizes. I can cut these up and stick things on them.

COLLECTED ITEMS FROM ACTIVITIES

The stars of the show!

I'm really excited to get started.
